We want you to be completely happy with your purchase! If there is an issue with your product due to manufacturing defects, we’ll gladly offer a return, exchange, or refund. However, we ask that you carefully review our care instructions, as we are unable to accept returns for issues caused by improper care or misuse.
Disclaimer: The policies outlined below apply to all products sold in our store. Any references to cutting boards also extend to all items in our product range, including kitchen utensils, wall art, coasters, jewelry, and any other items available for purchase.
A Note from the Owner: When you buy my handcrafted items, you are helping to support a family of five, and your support is deeply appreciated.
Please understand that as this item was crafted by hand - it may have imperfections. Kindly refrain from returning it solely due to not meeting your expectations. Customer covers return shipping costs.

Policy Breakdown
Returns and Exchanges (Defects)
- If your cutting board has any defects in craftsmanship (such as cracks or incomplete engraving), we will happily accept a return or offer an exchange within 30 days of purchase.
- You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
- Please provide a brief description of the issue, along with clear photos showing the defect. This helps us assess the issue and provide the best resolution.
- Once we’ve reviewed the issue, we will guide you through the return or exchange process.
Non-Returnable Items
1. Custom or Personalized Products
Custom or personalized items are non-returnable unless there is a clear manufacturing defect or flaw upon delivery. These products are made specifically for you and cannot be resold. Please contact us immediately if you believe your custom product is defective, and include photos of the issue.
2. Products as a Result of Improper Care
We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for boards with issues caused by improper care. This includes, but not limited to:
- Cupping or Warping from improper drying.
- Cracking from exposure to extreme temperatures or dryness.
- Discoloration or Damage from harsh cleaning products or natural food colors (e.g., beets, blueberries).
3. Sale Discounted Items or Gift Cards
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on discounted sale items or gift cards.
Care Instructions for Cutting Boards
Dry Evenly: Always dry your board upright on its edge to ensure even drying. Never leave it flat or put it away wet.
Oil Regularly: Apply a food-safe oil (like mineral oil) every month to prevent drying and cracking.
Clean Gently: Wash with warm, soapy water and dry immediately with a clean towel. Never soak it or put it in the dishwasher.
Avoid Heat: Keep your board away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
These instructions are included with every purchase and are available online for download. Following them will help your cutting board last for years.

How to Start a Return or Exchange
- Contact Us within 48 Hours: If you believe your product has a defect, email us with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the defect.
- Review: Once we’ve reviewed your request, we’ll provide a solution, which may include a return, replacement, or partial refund.
- Return Shipping: For defective products, we will provide a pre-paid return label. For non-defective products, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Refund Processing: Refunds are typically processed within 7-10 business days of receiving and reviewing the returned item.
Exchanges for Damaged Items
If your product arrives damaged due to shipping, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will arrange for an exchange or replacement at no additional cost. Please see "How to Start a Return or Exchange" above.
Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees unless a product is returned in a condition that violates our policy (e.g., damaged due to improper care).
